Every order that comes in is complete. If you want to add a new field (e.g. tier count for wedding cakes), add it in one minute — all future orders will include it.

Suriya uses Singapore's PayNow infrastructure — the same system every bank in Singapore supports. Your UEN or registered mobile number is your PayNow recipient ID. When a customer submits an order form, they are shown a PayNow QR code and your payment details. They pay from any banking app (DBS, OCBC, UOB, POSB, etc.) in under 30 seconds. No POS terminal, no monthly rental, no card processing percentage fee. PayNow transfers settle the same business day.

How do I manage multiple custom orders due on the same day?

Your Suriya production calendar shows every confirmed order by pickup date. For a busy Saturday, you see all cakes due that day at a glance — their specs, pickup times, and completion status. You can set a maximum number of orders per pickup date to prevent overbooking. When that date is full, the date becomes unavailable on the order form — customers automatically see the next available date.

What happens if a customer wants to modify their order after placing it?

You decide your modification policy. By default, Suriya flags any order modification request to you for manual approval. You can accept, reject, or negotiate a price difference for the change. The order record shows the original specs and the approved changes with a timestamp. For time-sensitive modifications (e.g. changing pickup time 48h before), you set the cutoff rules and Suriya enforces them automatically.

Do I need to register with ACRA to use Suriya as a home-based baker in Singapore?

Accepted Answer

Suriya doesn't require ACRA registration. Many Singapore home bakers operate as sole proprietors without a registered business, accepting PayNow to a personal mobile number. If you are registered with ACRA, use your UEN for PayNow — it looks more professional and increases customer trust.
